“A Song for all Seasons”

For this concert we return to the delightful venue which we first visited last summer, St Barnabas Church, Beckenham BR3 6PP where we shall perform items representing the four seasons by Britten, Finzi, Stanford Vaughan Williams and Whitacre, including Britten’s ‘Five Flower Songs’, Vaughan Williams’ ‘The Springtime of the year’ and Whitacre’s setting of e.e.cummings’ ‘i thank you god’, along with Stanford’s expansive setting of the Magnificat for Double Choir.
