Saturday 9th December – A Boy was Born
We performed a wonderful and festive programme of Christmas music. Benjamin Britten’s – A Boy was Born, Gerald Finzi’s In Terra Pax and Ralph Vaughan Williams’s – Fantasia on Christmas Carols.
We were joined by soprano Eleanor Pennell-Briggs and bass-baritone Giles Davies.
Stephen Anthony Brown conducted the performance, which was accompanied by organist Andrew MacMillan.
Saturday 24th February – Renaissance to Baroque
We performed works by a wide range of composers across these two eras, including Gabrieli, Gesualdo, Purcell, Schütz and many more. We were joined this time by with the Odeon Brass Ensemble.
Saturday 18th May – Rachmaninoff Vespers
Join us for Rachmaninoff’s powerful and moving Vespers – the “All-Night Vigil”.
